i'm thankful [for cranberry sauce]

i think thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. christmas has way too much hype surrounding one 2 hour session of present-opening. easter is kind of the afterthought of spring break. halloween is fun, but again, too much hype just to dress up as something that 3 other people thought was their idea and the only place to go is a lame party where everyone is drunk and vomiting.

food network had posted on their website all their celebrity chefs' thanksgiving menus and i couldn't have been more excited to spend the 4 day break from school eating nothing but leftovers.

not only was my weekend full of thanksgiving food, i also threw in some 'glee' with my bff brooklyn, black friday shopping [who could pass up 7/$25 undies at aerie? not this girl.], scamming on the cute, newsboy cap-wearing assistant at the tattoo shop, a jazz game, a pastel drawing of beethoven for my class, and a night of nc-17 documentary-watching for my english paper final. a pretty productive weekend, if i do say so myself.

i'm just glad that i finally have new movies to watch. so thanks, walmart and target, for having such amazing doorbuster sales on 'superbad', 'coraline', 'he's just not that into you', 'how i met your mother', and most importantly, 'the holiday'. [i will never pass up a chance to watch that movie, it's a guilty pleasure favorite. gotta love jude law.]
