i'm making lists

so hello again.
long time.

anyway...

things around cedar city have been busy.
and by "busy" i mean i only do 2 things: homework and avoid doing homework.

not to mention, things in my social life have changed pretty dramatically the last 2 months so i've done a lot of things alone or with new peeps.

not to go all unibomber on you or anything.

i guess the point of that really upbeat intro is that i've spent a lot of time doing things...cool things and weird things and things alone and i will share them. because it's 1am and i haven't posted in a while and i felt compelled to share my life with you.

1. not only did i finally see "blue valentine" [which was incredible & heartbreaking], i'm in love with michelle williams. i'm seriously considering cutting all my hair off [again] into her cute platinum pixie. thoughts?

2. i found these tumblrs. to my wife is one of the sweetest/funniest/cutest blogs i've read in a while and i need to find this man and marry the crap out of him.
to my husband is one of the most crude/hilarious/shocking blogs i've read in a while and i need to find these girls and be friends with them.
**warning: content on 'to my husband' may not be suitable for children. or my grandma.

3. i had VISITORS in cedar city!!! my old roommates/girlfriends from the good ol' dorm days last year and the year before made a road trip down south to visit! it was amazing. i can't believe how much fun i have with these girls. i could make an entire post about each of them [maybe i will laters]. i miss them and wish they were still down here at school, but i'm so happy that they're happy and doing fun things with their lives.

4. i'm finally taking graphic design related classes! i'm taking a relief/silkscreening class which has been SO much fun. i love it. i haven't taken photos of my relief prints yet but i'll post them once i do. i'm also taking typography 1 and that's been an eye-opener, lemme tell ya. so much goes into thinking about type and the composition/form/typeface and it's been awesome. if anyone has a download of adobe indesign they'd sell me, i'm desperate for it. typography is all about the indesign.

5. THE OSCARS!!! Mmm boy, do i love oscar night. i didn't do so hot on my ballot [only 11/25 or something like that], but i got the top 6 right.

the king's speech was absolutely amazing. you've got to see it. i will be purchasing it as soon as it's released.



6. i've weirdly been into pop hip-hop/rap lately. drake, lupe fiasco, kanye west, kid cudi, lil wayne...my kid cudi pandora station has gotten some major airtime lately. kind of uncharacteristic, but the last few days, i've just needed some good beats and bass to get me through the day. judge me.
