Valentine's Day this year meant that the plans previously made, had to be rescheduled due to visiting friends.
So this long weekend meant that Friday night was spent with him watching "Atonement"...not quite a romantic comedy, but romantic enough. And I had made Valentine's Day cookies [sugar cookie sandwiches with pomegranate & cream cheese frosting. Yum.] Friday night was a success.
Saturday, however, was a different story. I ordered pity pizza c/o Pamela [Thanks Mom!] and spent the rest of the night watching "Amelie". I needed a cute pick-me-up after such a lonely day and even though I fell asleep for a few minutes during the middle, I woke up just in time to watch Nino Quincampoix chase Amelie Poulain around Paris. SO CUTE. And not the worst way to spend Valentine's Day Eve [alone]. I had leftover pizza and cookies, popcorn and Dr. Pepper to keep me entertained.
Sunday was a different story. That morning, on Le Love's blog, ironically enough, this photo was the most recent post:
Lots of crazy antics ensued the rest of the night. All of which I will not go into on here because I don't want pity. (: But it is now the start of a new week, I didn't have classes today [so I got a 4 day weekend] and I'm ready to spend some time with friends and a boy.
